Another running build idea
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...8&postcount=32
This is my version of the E/D build. I dont have the dervish skills yet to test it, but it looks good on paper if you can time the cast properly.

P.S. Edited the build for much improvement over the one posted yesterday.

Yes, "technically" you should be ascended before getting to droks. So you go from ascalon to the northern shiverpeaks, to kryta, to the jungle to the desert, then to droks. You cant change your proffesion before you get ascended. Just a thought, try going to the temple of balthazar and ask the profession changer, maybe he can lend a hand? I doubt it, but give it a try.

Intresting, you and I have the same dilema...we both dont have nightfall. Why do you need 2 running skills though? And why add points into another atribute when you can use a dervish running skill you already have points in to patch up armor of mist. Or is it for another reason?

Just a thought, but would Flame Djinn's or even Storm Djinn's Haste? Considering you don't have to stop as often.

Actually, I do have NF but have not collected the Dervish skills listed in the Wiki posting. Last night I was going to change my posting, after realizing it was not the best it could be, but I was too tired. I had forgotten about Enchanted Haste until I was too tired to care. The entire build has been adjusted for the review of others. Mist Form does not have speed designed into it, which is the purpose for the extra speed skill.

I I said armor of mist, not mist form. My first build was like yours, but used armor of mist and a dervish running skill for speed. I havent tested it, but I take the word of Why_Me that it runs out of energy. By using Storm djin's haste, id think you would have the problem more than I did. Well hes made it to droks once already with his build, and it can only grow from there. If none of the adjusted ones work, go back to his. Do you guys (eles) think that we can actually make a living off of running?

Armor of mist has a speed increase designed into it already, you do not need a speed skill until it ends, which is why I used S-D Haste at first with Mist Form. I have tested the energy management of the build I posted today with similar skills to the two dervish ones I don't have. I do not think there will be a problem with energy. In addition, if you obtain NF you can level a hero warrior(Koss), set him to be a running companion, and he may take some of the damage for you. Just a thought. You could indeed make some gold if you build a reputation for Ele's running.

Simpy "testing" it will not show anything. Keeping all the enchantments up all the time isn't hard. The problem comes when you need to start casting cover enchants for pious restoration and the guiles strip enchantment. Its just too much work.
